The mapping of the target groups will take us on a journey through the cooperation with youth centers. The different experiences coming from different areas of the world (Eur de aquí tu texto de cabecera ope, America) and even within Europe (South, East and North of Europe) will provide invaluable opportunities for an innovative and rich methodology on how to approach SafeSpaces’ target group through different successful actions.
The result will consist in the creation of list of job profiles in the sector targeted and a job role description template. We will focus on professionals working as social workers in Reception and Integration Centre across the implementing countries. Part of this deliverable will be the mapping of existing job profiles in the very specific field of non-accompanied migrant minors and the proposition of SafeSpaces project for a new professional that can work efficiently under these circumstances.

Training Curricular Methodology

One training curriculum will be developed for Youth Centre Professionals, structured around three core Learning Pillars:
1) Empowerment and Inclusion.
2) Education and Labour Market Integration.
3) Participation and Community Engagement.
These pillars reflect and incorporate the 12 topics proposed in the project application. The training curriculum will be designed based on the Occupational Profiles developed under WP2 and will address a wide range of topics aligned with the different areas of specialization of social workers in migrant centers, such as legal support, psychological support, and career support.
The curriculum will cover transversal skills (e.g., critical thinking), foundational knowledge about integration and available social services, and will then delve into specialized topics such as legal counselling, prevention of human trafficking, criminality and radicalization, civic engagement, education counselling (e.g., introduction to Vocational Training opportunities), and psychological and social support (e.g., family reunification). The curriculum will be available in English, Greek, Spanish, and Bulgarian.

This Deliverable will represent the substantial educational content of the three curricula developed in this WP, and which will represent the core material to train the target group in D3.3. The content will be developed in the form of a compendium of knowledge (manual), which will then be adapted into PowerPoint presentations & interactive activities to be used for the implementation of the training. The target group is social workers employed or working in Migrant Welcoming Centers. This Deliverable, composed of the Manual & PowerPoint presentations, will be available in English, Greek, Spanish and Bulgarian.
Our Training Program will be developed following the Occupation Profiles as a result of the research phase, and will cover a plethora of topics according to the different areas of specialization of the social worker employed in the migrant center: legal support, psychological support, career support.
