ABOUT THE PROJECT
The SafeSpaces project is in line with the core areas of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027: engage, connect and empower young people. It supports youth participation in democratic life, social and civic engagement and, most importantly, strives to ensure that all young people have the necessary resources to an active take part in their communities.
Several European Youth Goals are covered by the project activities: Connecting EU with Youth, Equality of All Genders, Inclusive Societies, Information & Constructive Dialogue, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Quality Employment for All, Quality Learning, Space and Participation for All.

Our target
TARGET GROUP
Our target group is unaccompanied minors and youth, refugees, and asylum seekers, not excluding those on the move.

A minor who arrives on the territory of an EU Member unaccompanied by the adult responsible for them by law or by the practice of the EU Member State concerned, and for as long as they are not effectively taken into the care of such a person.

A minor who is left unaccompanied after they have entered the territory of the EU Member State.
